What this website does with your personal data, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are

This policy covers the website fiscalpoint.com. When you become a client, the engagement letter explains how we handle the data we need to do the work.
When you send us a message
The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. When you send it, we email it to our own inbox so a partner can reply. The website itself does not store it. We use Resend, an email delivery service, to send that email.
We use this to answer your enquiry and, if you go on to engage us, to prepare for that. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us. We keep the enquiry in our mailbox for as long as it is needed for that, and delete it on request unless the law requires us to keep it.
To stop the form being used to send spam, the server remembers your IP address in memory for up to one hour and limits how many messages it accepts from it. It is not written anywhere and is forgotten after that hour or when the server restarts.
If you email or call us directly, or use the consultation request, which opens your own email app, we receive what you choose to send us, and handle it in the same way.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies only if you agree. Until then, and if you decline, Google's tag still loads and tells Google, without cookies or any identifier for you, that a page was viewed and that analytics consent was not given. Google receives your IP address with that request, as with any request to its servers. If you agree, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that let it recognise repeat visits. We do not use advertising features, and nothing is used to show you ads.
Your answer is saved in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again. You can change it at any time under at the foot of every page. The legal basis for analytics cookies is your consent; for the cookieless signal, our legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit.
Fonts
The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
Hosting
The website runs on Amazon Web Services in London. The server keeps no log of visits. If a page fails with an error, the technical details of the error are recorded so we can fix it.
Who else handles your data
Resend (email delivery for the contact form), Google (Analytics, if you consent, and Fonts) and Amazon Web Services (hosting) process data for us under their data processing terms. Resend and Google may process data in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell personal data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@fiscalpoint.com and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).
Changes
If we change how the website handles personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
